Dream Come True

Today one of my SL dreams came true, I got to be an SL DJ! If you know me, you know I have done all kinds of things in my nearly 12 years of SL. Being a DJ was one of those things I had always thought about doing, but never actually did.

I was on the hunt for a DJ for VISIONAIRE's Graduation party, an annual task of mine. I wasn't finding exactly what I wanted and I thought "I wish I could just do this myself..." Then I decided to ask a friend of mine to show me. Wicca's partner Redclaw has a history of DJing so I asked him and he gave me a crash course in SL DJing last weekend. He made it seem so easy! I was floored. I spent the entire week after creating my playlist and today I went live. I showed up early to test my stream. Of course Wren and Nariko (aka Koko) were there checking things and before I knew it, it turned into a pre-party! I streamed for FOUR HOURS and even played a request for a Russian song! The day was amazing and I absolutely loved it.
